In 2K26, the most effective offensive structure is 5-out — all five players spaced around the perimeter. This clears the paint for drives and forces the defense to guard 1-on-1 without help.
If you're not the ball handler, your movement is just as important:
Stay in your spot. Don't drift toward the ball. Your job is to hold your defender in place.
Cut when your defender helps. If your man leaves you to help on a drive, cut to the basket for an easy pass.
Relocate after screens. If you set or use a screen, move to an open spot. Don't stand behind the screener.
Fill the corners. If a corner is empty, slide down. Corner 3s have the shortest distance and highest make rate.
