Phase 1: Before you spend anything
- Confirm the Zen fits your situation. Committed player of a live-service game, on controller, comfortable with the honest risk framing? If you haven't thought this through, read is the Zen worth it first — it includes the list of people who shouldn't buy.
- Budget both purchases. Device at standard retail from Cronus, script at $50 one-time from us. Two purchases, two places. No subscriptions if you choose sellers correctly.
- Watch your game's script running. Every yew.gg demo is at /watch. If you're considering another seller, demand the same evidence.
Phase 2: Buying the hardware

- Buy USB data cables at the same time. Known-brand, data-capable cables. Charge-only cables are the number one support issue in existence.
- PS5 player? Know the authentication requirement. You'll need a genuine controller in the chain — read the PS5 guide before your Zen arrives so nothing surprises you.
Phase 3: Buying the script
- Match the script to your exact game. One script per game: Green, Hoops, or Prime for NBA 2K26 (the Green vs Hoops comparison settles which), Champion for Fortnite, Siege, Legends for Apex, Dime for MLB The Show 26, Rust, Blueprint for Arc Raiders,

Phase 4: Setup day
- Book the free setup call. Included with every script. One guided session replaces this entire phase — how it works.
- Update firmware first. Before loading anything. Firmware guide.
- Follow the connection order. Zen booted first, then controller, then console. Connection guide.
- Flash the script and verify the slot. Latest version from your downloads, correct slot active on the Zen display. Zen Studio guide.
- Apply the recommended in-game settings. Scripts are tuned against specific sensitivities and settings — this step is invisible and mandatory.
Phase 5: First session checks
- Test on your normal network. Timing features interact with latency — baseline on a stable connection.
- Change one thing at a time. Start from the recommended config; adjust single variables so you know what did what.
