At yew.gg, we respect your privacy and are committed to being transparent about how we handle data. This Privacy Policy explains what information is collected when you visit yew.gg and how it is used. Yew LLC operates yew.gg, yewscripts.com, and cronus.gg. This policy describes yew.gg; sister storefronts post their own privacy notices where they differ.
1. Information We Collect
You can browse most of yew.gg without creating an account. If you sign in (Discord OAuth or our payments partner, Whop) to use the member hub, downloads, or purchase history, we collect the account information needed to recognize you and deliver what you bought.
1a. Email Collection
If you submit your email address through our exit-intent form or email capture block, we collect and store that email address to send you promotional offers and product updates. This is entirely voluntary. We use Resend as our email delivery provider. You can opt out at any time via the unsubscribe link in any email or by contacting us at biz@yew.gg.
1b. Accounts, Hub, and Support
If you sign in or contact us, we may collect:
- Your name, username, or handle
- Your email address
- Discord account identifiers if you authenticate with Discord
- Whop account identifiers needed to verify purchases
- Your IP address and a timestamp at the time of a form submission or sign-in
- Session cookies that keep you signed in
- Any files, descriptions, and media you voluntarily submit
This information is stored in our Supabase database and used to run the site, deliver products, respond to support, and keep records required for legal compliance (including DMCA). We do not sell this data. You may request deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting biz@yew.gg — deletion requests are processed within 30 days. Agreement acceptance records and purchase records may be retained for legal and accounting purposes even after other data is deleted.
1c. DMCA Notices
If you submit a DMCA takedown notice through yew.gg/dmca/submit or by email to dmca@yew.gg, we collect and store the personal information you provide (name, email, address, phone, and electronic signature) as required by 17 U.S.C. § 512(c). This information is used solely to process the notice and is retained for legal compliance. It is shared with the content provider identified in the notice as required by law.
2. Analytics
We use the following tools to understand traffic, performance, and how visitors use the site:
- Vercel Analytics and Vercel Speed Insights — aggregate page views, referrers, device categories, and performance timings. These tools do not build individual advertising profiles.
- Ahrefs Analytics — website traffic analytics.
- Google Analytics 4 — page and conversion measurement for our own shop.
- Microsoft Clarity — anonymized session replays and heatmaps for visitors outside the European Economic Area. Clarity may record pages visited, clicks, scroll behavior, device type, general geographic region, and referring URL. It does not collect passwords or payment information.

3. Payments & Account Data
All purchases on yew.gg are processed through Whop, our payments partner. When you make a purchase, Whop collects and processes your payment information, account details, and transaction data. We do not have direct access to your payment card details or billing information.

4. Cookies
We use cookies and similar storage for:
- Essential: keeping you signed in, remembering last-visited shop surfaces, and a coarse country code used to skip certain analytics in the EEA.
- Analytics: Vercel Analytics, Ahrefs, Google Analytics 4, and (outside the EEA) Microsoft Clarity.
- Advertising measurement: the Google Ads tag, which may set cookies to measure whether a visit or purchase followed one of our ads. We do not use Meta, TikTok, or ChatGPT advertising pixels.
5. Third-Party Services
Our website integrates with the following third-party services:
- Whop — payment processing, sign-in, and product delivery
- Vercel — website hosting, analytics, and performance monitoring
- Google Ads / Google Analytics 4 — conversion tracking and first-party analytics
- Ahrefs Analytics — website traffic analytics
- Microsoft Clarity — session recordings for non-EEA visitors
- Supabase — database storage for accounts, support, and legal records
- Discord — if you authenticate through Discord OAuth, Discord processes your login data per their privacy policy
- Resend — email delivery
- Anthropic — AI-powered search (queries you submit through on-site search may be processed by Anthropic's API)
- Upstash Redis — caches recent search queries for performance
Each of these services has its own privacy policy governing how they handle data. We encourage you to review their policies.
6. Data We Do Not Collect
To be clear, yew.gg does not:
- Require an account to browse public pages
- Run Meta (Facebook), TikTok, or ChatGPT advertising pixels
- Sell, rent, or share email lists with third parties for their advertising
- Store payment card numbers or bank details — Whop and its processors handle those
7. Children's Privacy
Our services are available to users aged 13 and older with parental consent for those under 18. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to remove it.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable measures to protect the data collected through our site. Our website is served over HTTPS and hosted on Vercel's infrastructure. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Your Rights (GDPR / CCPA)
Depending on your location, you may have certain rights regarding your personal data:
- Right to access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- Right to correction: Request correction of inaccurate personal data
- Right to deletion: Request deletion of your personal data, subject to legal retention requirements
