Lesson 5 of 8

In-game settings

These are the basketball settings the yew2K guide requires. Wrong shot timing or a meter that is still on is the usual reason the script looks like it is doing nothing.

Shot TimingShots and Layups (required)
Shot MeterOff
Shot FeedbackAll Shots
Visual CueJump or Set Point
Pro StickShots and Dribbles, or Shots Only
Dead zones5% on both sticks (raise only if they drift)
Required
Shot Timing on anything other than Shots and Layups means the script cannot time the shot. Meter on narrows the window the guide is written for.

Jumpshot

The builds guide recommends a fast, straight release. Bases it names: Oscar Robertson, Steph Curry, or Damian Lillard, releases matched to that base, speed maxed. It tells you to avoid slow bases such as Kobe and MJ.

MyCourt versus online

MyCourt timing is not online timing. Leave MyCourt, go to the City / Neighborhood, and walk to a court or queue Rec or Pro-Am. The guide says yew2K accounts for online latency on a current file — you do not change these settings for that.
