Lesson 5 of 8

In-game settings

These are the Fortnite controller settings published for yewFN. The script refines the stick, then Fortnite applies dead zone, curve, and sensitivity on top. Huge dead zones and an exponential curve fight that.

Look horizontal42–48%
Look vertical38–44%
ADS look horizontal14–18%
ADS look vertical12–16%
Edit mode sensitivity1.4–1.6×
Look dead zone5–10% (as low as the sticks allow)
Response curveLinear

Build bindsBuilder Pro

Edit bindA paddle, or L3 if you have no paddles
Over 12% dead zone
If the sticks drift until the dead zone is past about 12%, the published note is to replace the sticks. A fatter dead zone eats the script’s small aim corrections.

Script dead zones are separate

The 5–25 sliders on Script Download are the Zen’s own dead zones, baked into the file (default 10). They are not the Fortnite look-dead-zone percentages above. The download’s input curve defaults to Linear, which matches this table. Confirm edit on release is left as a personal choice in the published settings — try both for a full session.

Change one thing
The published testing note is one variable per session: creative for ten minutes, then three matches, then decide. Mid-range tracking is the check.
