How to Configure Arc for Fortnite
Arc is built for Fortnite — but out of the box, it's set for a middle-ground playstyle. Whether you main zero-build or build mode, aggressive or passive, here's how to configure Arc so it fits the way you play.
Auto-Tracking Strength
Arc's auto-tracking helps keep your crosshair on moving targets. The strength slider controls how much the script corrects your aim. Too low and you won't feel much difference; too high and it can feel sticky or lock onto the wrong target.
- Zero-build: Tracking matters more since fights are pure aim. Start at 60–70% and increase if you struggle with medium-range AR fights. Long-range sniping works best at 50–60% so you keep full control for flicks.
- Build mode: Players move unpredictably. Keep strength at 50–60% so tracking helps without pulling you off target when enemies build or phase. Box fights benefit from 65%+ since targets are closer.
If tracking feels choppy or overcorrects, drop strength by 10% and test again. Smoothness matters more than raw assist.
Build Macro Bindings
Build macros map complex build sequences to a single button press. Common binds include 90s, double ramps, and box edits. Before assigning macros:
- Match your in-game build binds — Arc needs to know which keys or buttons trigger walls, floors, ramps, and cones.
- Use a low cooldown (around 50–80ms between actions) for fast builds; increase it if builds look jerky or fail to place.
- Test in Creative before hopping into a match. Some structures require slightly different timing on different surfaces.
Don't over-bind. Two or three reliable macros (e.g., 90s + ramp rush) beat five that conflict or misfire.
Edit Assist Speed
Edit assist speeds up wall and floor edits for faster peeks and retakes. The speed slider controls how quickly the script executes edits after you hold the edit key.
Conservative (40–50%): Edits feel natural and won't outpace your reactions. Good for learning or if you prefer manual control.
Moderate (50–70%): Recommended for most players. Edits are snappy but still readable. Works well in both box fights and open-field engagements.
Fast (70–90%): Maximum speed for experienced editors. Can feel robotic if you're not used to it — practice in Creative before using in Arena or ranked.
Zero-Build vs Build Mode
Zero-build: Focus on auto-tracking and sensitivity. Build macros are irrelevant. Set tracking at 65–75%, edit assist low or off, and prioritize smooth aim. Movement and positioning matter more than builds.
Build mode: Balance tracking (50–60%) with build macros and edit assist. Prioritize 90s and ramp macros; edit assist at 55–65% is a good starting point for retakes.
Sensitivity Recommendations
Arc doesn't replace your in-game sensitivity — it augments it. General guidelines:
- Low sense players (eDPI under 50): Bump tracking strength to 70%+ so you get more help on flicks and tracking.
- Mid sense (eDPI 50–80): 55–65% tracking works for most. Adjust based on whether you favor AR spray or shotgun aim.
- High sense (eDPI 80+): Keep tracking at 45–55%. You already have speed; too much assist can overcorrect.
Play a few games, note where you miss (tracking vs flick vs build), and tune from there. Arc's presets are a solid starting point, but personal feel always wins.
