Arc Raiders gives you two completely different aiming problems in every raid. ARC machines are fast, erratic, often airborne, and attack in numbers — a tracking problem. Raiders (the human kind) peek cover, jiggle, and punish overexposure — a precision problem. Most aim help is built for one or the other. The Two-Enemy Problem
Why Arc Raiders needs its own script rather than a generic FPS pack:
- ARC machines move unlike anything in PvP shooters. Drones strafe in three dimensions; skittering units change direction faster than human strafing. Sustained tracking matters more than first-shot precision.
- Raider fights are extraction-shooter fights. Slow, positional, high-stakes — the first accurate burst usually decides it, because nobody re-peeks with a full kit on the line.
- Both happen in the same five minutes. You clear a machine patrol, and the noise pulls a squad onto you. Whatever is helping your aim has to be right for both without a settings trip.
What Blueprint's Aim Assist Does
On controller, Arc Raiders — like every controller shooter — has built-in aim assist that slows or eases your reticle around targets. Blueprint's aim assist mod works with that system at the hardware input layer: the Cronus Zen sits between your controller and console (which sees a standard controller) and shapes your stick input so you stay inside the game's assist behavior more consistently.
Practically, that means:
- Steadier tracking on erratic targets. The micro-adjustments that keep the game's assist engaged on a strafing drone happen more consistently than raw thumb input produces.
- Less overcorrection. The classic controller failure against fast machines is sawing back and forth across the target. Smoothed input keeps corrections proportional.
- No screen reading, no magic. The script has no information about the game world — it refines the input you make. If you aim at the wrong doorway, it helps you aim at the wrong doorway very smoothly.
Anti-Recoil Tuning for Sustained Fire
Machine fights in Arc Raiders are magazine-dump fights — medium and heavy ARC units soak sustained fire, and recoil climb is what pulls your damage off target mid-mag. Blueprint's anti-recoil tuning counters the climb per burst so extended fire stays centered. Against raiders it matters differently: the first burst is the fight, and a compensated burst puts more of it where you aimed. What the script won't do, stated plainly:
