Individual resellers listing script files on general marketplaces. Some are resold leaks, some are old community files rebranded; almost none carry an update pipeline, which is the thing being paid for with maintained scripts.

Strengths

  • Marketplace buyer protection covers the transaction (not the file’s quality)

Limitations

  • A file without its maintenance pipeline is a snapshot that decays per patch
  • Provenance is unverifiable; rebranded free files are common in the category
  • No relationship with the actual script author for support or updates

Verdict: Marginally safer than Discord leaks because of buyer protection, but the product is the same: a frozen file. Maintained scripts are a service, not a file — marketplaces can’t resell the service.
